Gallaghers have used Greystone for probably about 5-6 years now, mainly for concrete slab placement works, in particular external yard slabs.
They have just completed a 42,000/m2 external yard slab for us at a new Amazon distribution centre, in Dartford, Kent. Works were of an excellent standard, and the slabs received high praise from the developer.
They are currently contracted to Gallaghers at another distribution centre for DHL, in Essex, for external yard slabs and flare head pile installations, along with foundation placement at a large scheme in Lutterworth, Leicestershire.We have had no issues with Greystone commercially, they stick to their Contract price, and don’t ‘try it on’ with regards to additional works.
The largest scheme they have done for Gallaghers is the Amazon in Dartford, which was c£250,000. This was on a labour and plant basis.
Operationally we have had no issues, they are flexible in being able to increase/decrease resources to suit the programme.
Clive Owen is the main point of contract for Greystone, and he is a gentleman and a pleasure to deal with. Nothing is too much trouble.
On this basis, I would not hesitate to recommend Greystones.
